Tatiana’s New Manual Therapies at MARIS

These are not classic relaxation massages. This is precise work with muscles, fascia, tension points, and the lymphatic system — always tailored to the needs of the specific individual.

Bruxism and Headache Therapy

Do you clench your jaw when stressed? Do you wake up with a tense face, temple pain, or neck stiffness? Or perhaps you grind your teeth or feel that your facial muscles are constantly ‘on alert’?

Bruxism and headache therapy focuses on relaxing the masseter muscles, temples, neck, and the entire craniofacial area. Tatiana utilizes external massage techniques, trigger point work, and gentle intraoral techniques that allow access to deeper structures.

This therapy can help reduce tension in the jaw and cheeks, improve temporomandibular joint mobility, and bring relief to individuals whose muscle tension co-occurs with headaches, neck pain, or facial fatigue.

For whom?

This therapy is especially recommended for those who:

  • clench or grind their teeth,
  • feel tension in the jaw, temples, or cheeks,
  • suffer from tension headaches or migraines,
  • have a stiff neck and neck tension,
  • experience discomfort while eating, speaking, or opening their mouth wide,
  • live or work under high stress and notice that tension ‘accumulates’ in their face and jaw.

What does the therapy provide?

Regular manual work can help reduce tension in the masseter muscles, improve temporomandibular joint mobility, reduce the sensation of jaw clenching, and bring noticeable relief to the face, temples, and neck.

An additional effect is often a more relaxed facial appearance — when the muscles stop being constantly tense, the features become softer and the face regains its natural lightness.

This therapy is for individuals who want not only to feel relief, but also to better understand how strongly stress and tension affect the work of the entire craniofacial area.

Adjunctive Dental Therapy

Long dental visits, orthodontic treatment, or surgical procedures in the oral cavity can leave behind tension, stiffness, and discomfort in the jaw, mandible, and face.

Supportive dental therapy helps prepare the tissues for treatment and supports their return to comfort after the procedure. The work includes the craniofacial area, jaw and mandible muscles, temporomandibular joint, neck, and facial muscles.

The therapy can be performed both before planned treatment to reduce tension and improve tissue elasticity, and after the procedure as a form of supporting regeneration.

For whom?

We especially recommend it for:

  • before getting orthodontic braces,
  • after long dental appointments,
  • after oral hygiene procedures,
  • after root canal treatment,
  • after surgical procedures in the oral cavity,
  • experiencing tension or jaw pain,
  • having difficulty opening their mouth wide,
  • experiencing discomfort while biting, speaking, or yawning.

What does the therapy provide?

Appropriately chosen manual work can reduce tension in the jaw muscles, improve temporomandibular joint mobility, and limit the feeling of stiffness and overload after procedures.

It can also help reduce swelling, tenderness, and radiating tension towards the temples, head, and neck.

This is a good option for individuals who, after dental treatment, want to regain freedom of movement and normal, daily comfort more quickly — without the feeling that their jaw has just worked overtime.

Pre- and Post-Treatment Body and Face Therapy

An aesthetic medicine or plastic surgery procedure is not just the moment of the procedure itself. Appropriate tissue preparation before the procedure and support during regeneration are also very important.

Pre- and post-treatment body and face therapy is a specialized manual therapy in which we work with muscles, fascia, deep tissues, and the lymphatic system. Its goal is to improve tissue elasticity, reduce tension and swelling, and create the best possible conditions for regeneration.

For whom?

This therapy can be particularly helpful before and after procedures such as:

  • Botox, fillers,
  • mesotherapy, tissue stimulators,
  • thread lift,
  • laser therapy,
  • radiofrequency,
  • medical peels,
  • eyelid surgery, nose surgery,
  • face lift, liposuction,
  • abdominoplasty,
  • breast surgery.

It can also be used after lengthy dental procedures if tension or strain appears in the face and jaw area.

What does the therapy provide?

Depending on the stage and type of procedure, the therapy can support reduction of swelling, improved lymph flow, better blood circulation and tissue oxygenation, as well as reduction of tension and tenderness.

It can also help the skin regain elasticity and natural softness more quickly, and allow the entire treated area to return to greater comfort.

In the case of post-procedure therapy, the scope of work is always tailored individually, taking into account the type of procedure performed, the stage of regeneration, and the recommendations of the attending physician.

This is an offering for individuals who want to care not only for the procedure’s outcome itself, but also for a calm, conscious, and well-supported regeneration process.

We highly recommend and invite you!
